The victim, whose name, age, and residence were not identified, was released to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, according to a statement from Peabody police. Foul play is not suspected. On Saturday the victim’s family told police that items considered “out of character” were left behind by the victim earlier in the day, according to the statement.
