A Southbridge man wanted on charges of raping a child and other crimes in Massachusetts is now wanted in Colorado.

Denver Police said they are looking for Gregory Lewis, 26, for alleged sexual assault, kidnapping, and aggravated robbery, said spokesman Sonny Jackson. The incidents occurred sometime in October, said Jackson, who had no other details.

Police believe Lewis is in the Denver metro area and are asking for the public’s help to find him.

Lewis is also wanted on felony warrants in North Carolina and Massachusetts for kidnapping, aggravated robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and statutory rape.

He has been missing from Southbridge since Sept. 15 when, facing child rape charges, he cut off a court-ordered GPS device and disappeared.

The Globe reported that Lewis was last seen Sept. 25 at his Southbridge home, where he allegedly assaulted a family member. At the time, he was traveling in a blue 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and armed with a handgun, according to Southbridge police.

Police describe Lewis as a white male with brown eyes and brown hair, about 6 foot 2, and weighing 240 to 270 pounds. On his chest, he has a tattoo of a hand holding a knife with a broken handcuff, and a tattoo of a demonic female with colored eyes from his left shoulder to elbow.

Denver police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about Lewis can call Denver police at 720-913-7867 or text 274637 and remain anonymous.
