More than 40 demonstrators rallied outside of the Institute of Contemporary Art in the Seaport District on Monday to protest against the possibility of Boston hosting the 2024 Summer Olympics.
The demonstrators stood outside a public forum organized by The Boston Globe that featured columnists Dante Ramos and Joanna Weiss. The forum also featured representatives from the No Boston Olympics and the Boston 2024 organizations.
“No Justice, No Games,” chanted the crowd that criticized the lack of public input on the Olympics bid thus far.
Protesters were also cautious about the cost of hosting the games.Juan Cajigas can be reached at Juan.firstname.lastname@example.org. Follow him on Twitter at @Esteban_Cajigas.
