Footprints in the snow led to a suspect in a Worcester bar robbery, police said. Police responded to the Three G’s Sports Bar about 1 a.m. Monday. An employee told officers he was putting money in a bag when a man jumped over the counter, pushed him to the ground, and grabbed the bag, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled out the back door. Officers followed a set of fresh footprints consistent with someone running, based on the distance between steps, to a nearby apartment. The apartment door was slightly ajar, and police could see the money bag in plain sight, authorities said. They arrested Jonathan Campbell, 31, and charged him with assault and battery and unarmed robbery.
