HISTORY: Founded 1964 by Sisters of Mercy as Marian Court Secretarial School for Women.

BY THE NUMBERS: Enrollment of 266. Expenses last year exceeded revenue by half a million dollars, the third straight year of losses.

NOTED: Campus, based on an oceanfront estate, includes Calvin Coolidge’s “summer White House,’’ now used as a classroom building.

FINAL COMMENCEMENT: Sixty-seven students graduated on May 16, with 41 awarded the first four-year degrees in the college’s history.
