An electrical fire broke out on MBTA tracks in South Boston Sunday morning, delaying trains for about 20 minutes, according to the agency.

The blaze took place around 9 a.m. on tracks that are used to move trains in and out of the Red Line maintenance facility, said MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo.

The tracks do not service any passenger lines, he said, but trains were still delayed by the fire, Pesaturo said.

Some were able to capture the blaze on camera.
