The Massachusetts Department of Revenue recently released its latest report on million-dollar earners in each city and town across the state.
Altogether, there were 12,598 residents statewide who reported an adjusted gross income of more than $1 million during the 2013 tax year, the most recent year for which data is available.
That comes out to 2 million-dollar earners per every 1,000 Massachusetts residents that year.
But some municipalities had much higher ratios of residents raking in seven figures.
Weston had the highest proportion of million-dollar earners, nearly 43 per 1,000 residents, followed by Dover (34), Wellesley (25), Lincoln (19), and Manchester (16).
