2 men charged in connection with theft of 335 Christmas trees

Two men have been arrested in connection with the theft and sale of more than 300 Christmas trees from a property in Arlington, Vt. The Burlington Free Press reported that Philip Morse Jr., 29, and Chad Morse, 35, turned themselves in to Vermont State Police on Friday. Police say the men are suspected of stealing 335 trees. Both face multiple felony charges of theft of real property. They allegedly profited from selling the stolen trees and failed to notify the property’s owner.
