Revere police and state troopers arrested one man and were searching for another in connection with the January fatal shooting of 18-year-old Andres Jaramillo, officials said Sunday.
A grand jury indicted Juan "Juanito" Gavaria-Jiminez, 18, and Luis "Lito" Urbaez, 30, charging both men with murder and related offenses, Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley and Revere Police Chief Joseph Cafarelli said in a statement Sunday.
On Jan. 23, at about 2 a.m., police found Jaramillo, of Chelsea, inside his Honda Accord on Garfield Avenue suffering from fatal injuries, authorities said.
"For more than 10 months, Revere and State Police have been gathering evidence that Suffolk prosecutors carefully and methodically put before the grand jury," Conley said in the statement. "I hope Mr. Jaramillo's loved ones can take some comfort knowing these men and women never wavered in their efforts to find justice on his behalf."

Jaramillo's mother declined to comment on Sunday.
Friends struggled with the death of a young man they described as a "sweetheart" to the Globe around the time of his death.
Jaramillo lived in a two-family home on Chester Avenue in Chelsea and had younger twin stepsisters.
At the time of his death, Jaramillo was facing charges for domestic assault and battery and larceny over $250 stemming from charges filed in November 2014, according to court records. He was slated to return to court in March.
His former girlfriend said Jaramillo grabbed her by the hair and ripped one of her pant legs down the middle during an argument at the Registry of Motor Vehicles in Revere, according to a police report filed in court. Jaramillo allegedly stole the woman's cellphone during the incident.
Authorities did not comment on a motive for the killing.
Gaviria-Jiminez is expected to be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court on Monday.
Anyone with information on Urbaez's location is asked to contact Revere police at 781-284-1212 or the Suffolk County State Police Detective Unit at 617-727-8817. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
