Secretary of State John F. Kerry will be Northeastern University's commencement speaker this spring, the school announced Monday. Northeastern President Joseph Aoun said on Twitter that he was "Proud to announce that #Northeastern's 2016 Commencement speaker is Secretary of State @JohnKerry." The ceremony is scheduled for May 6 at TD Garden. Northeastern said in a statement that Kerry will address "a global gathering of 25,000 graduates, family members, university leaders, and friends from around the world."
