Researchers on Monday apparently spotted a white shark chowing down off the coast of Cape Cod.

Photographs of the shark feeding, which were posted to the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy’s Facebook page, showed the predator with an apparent gray seal in its mouth, according to the group.

Another photo seems to show a shark circling a pool of blood in the water.

Conservancy representatives wrote that the “white shark was approximately 11 feet in length and spotted off Monomoy.”
