Authorities are investigating the death of a woman who was pulled from the bottom of a swimming pool in Plymouth Sunday night.
Plymouth police spokesman Captain John Rogers said officers responded at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday where they learned bystanders had just removed a woman from a pool at a residence. The woman was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth and then transferred to a Boston hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, Rogers said. The victim was not identified.
Rogers said the drowning remains under investigation.
