Two people were shot in Jamaica Plain Thursday afternoon near the Forest Hills MBTA station, authorities said.
The victims, who were not identified, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to area hospitals for treatment, according to Boston police spokesman David Estrada.
The shooting occurred near the intersection of the Arborway and Morton Street shortly before 5 p.m., Estrada said.
Information on possible suspects was unavailable Thursday as the police investigation was ongoing, Estrada added.
The MBTA police could not immediately be reached for comment.
