A car crashed into an a temporary lane closure sign inside the Ted Williams Tunnel Monday evening, State Police said.
A 60-year-old man from Lynn was traveling east on Interstate 90 shortly before 10 p.m., when he hit the arrow board in the middle lane shortly before Exit 26, according to Trooper Robert Lima.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said in a statement that the board was part of a work zone, but no workers were hurt.
Lima said the man was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Lima said the incident remains under investigation, but the man is facing several motor vehicle violations.
