A 59-year-old woman swimming at the Flaherty Pool in Roslindale Tuesday morning was rescued by lifeguards after she had a seizure, officials said.

The lifeguards pulled the woman out of the pool around 8 a.m. and administered CPR before she was taken to the hospital, said Sandy Holden, a spokeswoman for the Boston Centers for Youth and Families, which runs the Flaherty Pool.

The woman is breathing on her own and is doing OK, Holden said.
