Michelle Obama will speak at a New Hampshire campaign event for Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine on Thursday, according to the Clinton campaign.
The First Lady is expected to discuss the ramifications of the presidential election and urge New Hampshire voters to get to the polls, the campaign said in a statement.
Doors open at 9:30 a.m., and the event starts at 12:15 p.m.
She also will remind voters that New Hampshire offers same-day voter registration, the statement said. The Granite State is one of 14 that allow residents to register and cast their ballot on Election Day, according to the National Conference of State Legislators.
A venue for Obama’s New Hampshire appearance has not yet been announced.
The First Lady has become an asset to the Clinton campaign, with high voter approval ratings and a broad appeal to key voting demographics such as women, African Americans, and millennials.
