Five children were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries after a Tuesday morning crash involving a school bus in Quincy.

The crash took place at about 11:30 a.m. on Quarry Street, Quincy Police Sergeant Karyn Barkas said. The school bus was carrying students from Charles A. Bernazzani Elementary School who were in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Barkas said the details of the crash are under investigation, but at least one other vehicle was involved.

The five children were taken to South Shore Hospital, Barkas said. The driver of the other vehicle and the bus driver were also taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
