A fight between two boys at Brighton High School Wednesday morning left one with a stab wound and the second arrested on an assault charge, police said.

Boston police officers assigned to the school arrived on the scene around 10:50 a.m., after faculty had separated the students, according to a police statement.

The officers sent the victim, 15, to Boston Children’s Hospital with a non-life-threatening stab wound to the leg, the release said.

The boy who stabbed him, also 15, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to the statement.
