KILLINGTON, Vt. — A New York skier was found dead on a trail at the Killington Ski Resort, according to Vermont State Police.
William Cusano, 65, of Lagrangeville, N.Y., was skiing an intermediate trail at the mountain when he collapsed on Saturday afternoon, police said.
Cusano was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said a preliminary investigation showed no sign that Cusano was involved in a crash. His death appears to have been a natural event. An autopsy is planned.
