Three men arrested in Randolph on drug, firearm charges

Three men were arrested on various drug and firearm charges Friday as part of a larger narcotics investigation into the use of illegal drugs in Randolph, police said.

Fernando Carrion, 24, Fredcisco Carrion, 21, and William Alvarez, 28, all of Randolph, were arrested after Randolph police and the South Shore Drug Task Force searched the home of 20 Crickett Lane.

At the home, officers found fentanyl, a semi-automatic handgun, and ammunition.

Fernando Carrion and Alvarez are each charged with trafficking a class B drug (fentanyl) and possession of ammunition. Fernando Carrion is also charged with possession with intent to distribute a class B drug (fentanyl).

Fredcisco Carrion is charged with possession of a loaded firearm.

Both Carrions are being held on $5,000 cash bail, and Alvarez is being held on $10,000 cash bail.

All three men are scheduled to be arraigned in Quincy District Court on Tuesday.
