Tom Brady had quite the trying year. From his punishment for Deflategate to his mother’s illness, it’s a wonder the Patriots quarterback remained calm, cool, and collected as he led his team to win Super Bowl LI.
That’s what made the parade honoring the local pro football team all the more special. And one of the sweetest moments came at the end of the parade for the Super Bowl MVP.
As Brady and coach Bill Belichick stood above a crowd of fans clogging the streets of Boston at City Hall, the pair hoisted Vince Lombardi Trophies into the air, wearing wide smiles.

“I told you we were going to bring this sucker home. And we brought it home,” Brady said, brandishing the silver championship trophy before a roaring crowd.
“This team gave everything they had. Dang, that game was hard. That game was real hard. But you know we are going to remember this one for the rest of our lives,” Brady said.
He began his speech by saying, “One more!”
The crowd later chanted, “We want six! We want six!”
