A two-alarm fire at a high-rise condominium complex in Lynn Saturday displaced up to 15 residents, fire officials said.

An electrical fire in a utility shaft broke out on the 5th floor of the high-rise at 295 Lynn Shore Drive, said District Chief Stephen Archer. The shaft was quite damaged, he said, and there is smoke and water damage to units from the fifth floor down to the lobby.

There were no reported injures, Archer said.

Residents from ten units were displaced, Archer said. None of them requested housing assistance from Red Cross while their residences are cleaned, he said.

Archer said crews responded to the two-alarm fire at about 2:40 p.m.

An estimate of damage to the building is not available yet, he said.
