The powerful storm that ripped through Massachusetts caused several accidents, including one in which state highway cameras captured video of a tractor-trailer spinning out on the Zakim Bridge.
The video, which grabbed the attention of Governor Charlie Baker and top state officials, shows the tractor trailer travelling south on the roadway when the vehicle suddenly skews to the driver’s left.
The vehicle came to a stop crossing all traffic lanes, but both the tractor and its trailer were upright following the skid.
All of the vehicles travelling near the tractor trailer stopped without hitting the vehicle.
The driver later performed a time-consuming turn around before continuing along the highway.
