Visibility was poor Tuesday as a major winter storm battered the state, so much so that a tractor-trailer appeared to have gotten turned around on the Mass. Pike.
The truck was spotted going the wrong way by a WCVB camera crew on the Pike in Weston near the State Police barracks.
The crew was able to signal to the truck, which safely turned around, according to WCVB.
State officials have been warning residents to stay off the roads as conditions deteriorate. The Weather Service was predicting blizzard conditions for much of the state through the evening hours. Snow has been falling at 2 to 4 inches per hour in some areas of the state.
Around midday, Governor Baker reported that traffic was light and there were no major accidents on Massachusetts roadways.
