N.H. crash kills 22-year-old woman, injures two men

A 22-year-old woman was killed and two men in their early 20s were injured in a single-car crash early Saturday in Brentwood, N.H., according to local police.

Brentwood police were notified of the crash on Middle Road in Brentwood shortly before 12:30 a.m., according to a statement from Sergeant Steven Wheeler of the department.

New Hampshire state troopers arrived with fire and rescue workers to find an Audi A4 that apparently had left the pavement while traveling eastbound, hit a large tree, rolled over, and come to rest in the front yard of 66 Middle Road, Wheeler said.

A passenger in the front seat, Jasmine Marston, 22, of Newmarket, N.H., was pronounced dead at the scene.

The car’s driver, Seth Winkle, 21, of Exeter, N.H., was trapped inside the car and seriously injured, Wheeler said. A passenger in the back seat, Austin Look, 20, of Exeter, was also injured, but was expected to live. Both were taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Wheeler said.

Speed appears to have been a factor in the crash, but the cause remains under investigation, Wheeler said.

The crash left part of Middle Road closed for about four hours.
