Children taken to hospital after school bus crash on Mass. Pike

A school bus carrying children was involved in a “minor crash” on the Massachusetts Turnpike at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

Several children were taken to area hospitals to be examined for potential minor injuries “in an abundance of caution,” State Police said in a statement.


State Police did not identify the school or organization operating the bus.

The crash occurred in the Weston area before Exit 15 heading west on the Pike.

The were no visible injuries at the scene, State Police said.
