Motorcyclist killed in Raynham crash

A 19-year-old was killed in Raynham Monday after his dirt bike crashed into a car, police said.

The man was driving the off-road bike on Route 138 when he hit the passenger side of a car that was turning left onto Gilmore Street, police said.

The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and landed in the road. He was taken to Morton Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the car, a 2005 Toyota Avalon, remained at the scene of the crash.
