Two arrested for robbing a man of his marijuana at gunpoint in Brookline

Brookline police arrested two people early Wednesday for the late-night robbery of a man who had his marijuana stolen at gunpoint.

The armed robbery occurred around 2:10 a.m. at an address on Milton Road, Brookline police said in a statement.

The victim reported “that two people just entered the dwelling and put a gun in the caller’s face and just left,” the statement said. “The victim reports talking with a man about marijuana when all of a sudden he had a black-colored automatic firearm pressed against his head. The victim reports that the subjects took his marijuana and fled the scene.”

Cops canvassed the area and quickly located the two suspects, who were arrested and charged with the robbery. Their names and genders were not immediately available.

Police also “located a firearm (later determined to be a BB gun), and several paper bags containing marijuana,” the statement said.
