A teenage girl from Dorchester was killed in a single-car crash early Sunday morning in Braintree, officials said.
The 16-year-old girl was identified as Amanda Nguyen, according to a statement from the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.
Nguyen was in the front passenger seat when the car crashed at the Braintree Electric Light Department (BELD) property on Plain Street around 4 a.m., authorities said.
Nguyen, the male driver, and a male passenger in the back seat were trapped in the car, officials said.
Authorities extricated all three people from the vehicle, the district attorney’s office said.
Both males suffered serious injuries and were taken to area hospitals for treatment, officials said.
