Authorities have updated the name of the suspect in a recent Weymouth slaying.
Cornel Bell , who was previously identified as Kerrol Florizel Bailey, is suspected in the homicide of Michele Clarke , 33, according to the Norfolk district attorney’s office.
“Kerroll Florizel Bailey” is one of Bell’s several aliases, according to a statement from the DA. His other aliases include Tony Smith, Cavin Lebert, Mark Simmons, Cornel James, and Cornel Carara.
Clarke was found dead Saturday morning in her home. She had suffered “sharp trauma injuries,” to her body, said Norfolk Assistant District Attorney Gregory Connor.
Clarke and Bell, a 46-year-old Dorchester resident, had previously dated, according to authorities.
Authorities had previously secured an arrest warrant for Bell, under his Bailey alias. Police have said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
