Needham line train canceled minutes before scheduled departure

Keolis Commuter Services canceled a Needham commuter line train Friday just minutes before it was set to depart.

Keolis, the operator of the MBTA’s commuter rail service, tweeted at 6:01 a.m. that Train 600 was being canceled. The train was scheduled to depart at 6:05 a.m., according to @MBTA_CR, the Twitter account maintained by Keolis.

Commuters are being urged to take Train 602, scheduled to depart Needham at 6:40 a.m.
