North Reading police have obtained a warrant for the arrest of a man who allegedly robbed a gas station Sunday evening, authorities said.
Michael Tallini, 32, of North Reading, is wanted on a charge of unarmed robbery, police said in a press release issued Tuesday night.
He is alleged to have robbed the Speedway gas station on Main Street just before 9 p.m., and fled with an undetermined amount of cash, the release stated.
A clerk reported the robbery to police. After viewing surveillance video from the store, police identified the suspect as Tallini, according to the release.
Tallini is described as a thin male with a tan complexion and a black beard. He is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and speaks with a raspy voice, the release said.
He was last seen wearing a dark green hooded jacket with a stripe, blue jeans, sneakers and a baseball hat.
