N.H. man arrested after submachine gun found hidden inside home

A New Hampshire man was arrested Thursday after a submachine gun, knives and other weapons were found hidden in his home, authorities said.

Danny Coutermarsh, 58, of Grafton was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, and a felon in possession of dangerous weapons, New Hampshire State Police said in a statement.

After a month-long investigation, State Police and local authorities obtained a search warrant Thursday for Coutemarsh’s home at 350 Dean Road, the statement said.


He was released on $10,000 bail, according to the State Police.

He is due to be arraigned oct. 23 in Grafton Superior Court.
