An 83-year-old man crashed his car into Kappy’s liquor store on Route 114 in Peabody Thursday afternoon and was taken to a hospital, according to police.
Frank Marino of Danvers said his foot got stuck under the brake pedal when he crashed into the store at 3:45 p.m., a Peabody police spokesman said.
He was taken to Lahey Medical Center in Peabody for injuries not believed to be serious.
The store was damaged, but no one inside was injured, police said.
The crash is under investigation.
