Former Lowell man pleads guilty to distributing fentanyl in NH

A former resident of Lowell, Mass., and Manchester, N.H. pleaded guilty to a charge of fentanyl distribution in US District Court in New Hampshire, officials said Tuesday.

Alex “Lex” Hernandez, 27, sold a total of 110 grams, on three separate occasions, in April, May and June of 2016, according to the US Attorney’s office in Concord, N.H.

The drug was sold to a cooperating witness, prosecutors said in a statement.

Sentencing was set for March 13, 2018.
