In Brookline, contractor allegedly used weed whacker to menace co-worker; charge brought

Some projects have cost overruns. Others, power tool assaults.

A dispute among home contractors in Brookline turned ugly last weekend when one worker allegedly attacked his colleague with a weed whacker, police said.

The victim told authorities he was working Saturday at a residence on Allandale Rd. when another worker approached him with the whacker, Brookline police said in a statement.

A message seeking further information, including the suspect’s name, was left with Brookline police officials on Thursday morning.
