Overnight stabbing reported downtown at Boylston and Exeter streets

Boston Emergency Medical Services responded to a report of a stabbing overnight at the intersection of Boylston and Exeter streets in downtown Boston, according to an EMS official.

A victim was found at the scene at about 2 a.m..

Boston Police said the stabbing resulted in minor injuries to the victim and appeared to be a confrontation between two homeless people.


The intersection is less than 250 feet from the Boston Marathon finish line, and the Boston Public Library and the Lenox Hotel are at the corner.
