Boston police detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man in connection with an ongoing homicide investigation.

The fatal shooting occurred Dec. 19 in Dorchester, according to a press release on bpdnews.com. Officers from District C-11 responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 344 Bowdoin St. The 17-year-old victim, identified as Phillip Demings of Weymouth, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
