A 58-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash shortly before 6 a.m. Thursday in Lebanon, N.H., authorities said.
The crash occurred on Route 4 and killed Robert Rogers, of Enfield, N.H., according to New Hampshire State Police.
Rogers was driving a 2017 GMC Sierra pickup truck on the highway when another truck “lost control and struck the front of the GMC Sierra causing fatal injuries to Rogers,” State Police said in a statement.
“Initial investigation on scene indicated that the Chevrolet  dump truck lost control and struck the front of the GMC Sierra causing fatal injuries to Rogers,” the release said. “The investigation is ongoing to reconstruct the events of the crash and determine why the collision occurred.”
Troopers identified the driver of the Chevrolet 3500 as Andrew Kannler, 48, of Grafton, N.H. Kannler hasn’t been charged with any crimes or cited for any violations.
Route 4 in the area was closed for about four hours after the crash, according to State Police.
