Dorchester stabbing victim identified

A man who was stabbed to death in Dorchester on Sunday has been identified as 33-year-old Anthony Young, police said.

Young, of Boston, died after being taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, Boston police said in a statement on Thursday. Young was “suffering from apparent stab wounds” when police found him early in the morning.

The Boston Police Department is investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call (617) 343-4470. Anonymous tipsters can also call the department’s confidential tip line at 800-494-TIPS or text ‘TIP’ to 27463.
