An overturned tractor-trailer at a ramp of the Massachusetts Turnpike in Weston briefly caused a slow-down for some early-morning commuters on Thursday, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Two ramps had been closed: the Interstate 95 northbound ramp to Interstate 90 eastbound, and the I-90 eastbound ramp to I-95 northbound, said Jacquelyn Goddard, a spokeswoman for the department. Both reopened by about 6:30 a.m.
The truck, which was on its side at the ramp on I-90 eastbound, was turned right side up by about 6 a.m., the Weston fire department tweeted.
Crews were on scene to remove the truck, which was towed off the road and onto a grass shoulder, Goddard said.
Goddard said traffic congestion was expected to ease in the area.Felicia Gans can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. Follow her on Twitter @FeliciaGans.
