Many Green Line passengers were upset Tuesday morning as most of the underground segment of the MBTA line was shut down during the morning commute. Service was disrupted around 8:30 a.m., and as of 10:30 a.m., had not resumed.
Some riders described the scene as “chaos” as passengers were evacuated at Kenmore Square and shuttled between there and Park Street. Some commuters had to walk through tunnels below the city when their trains were stuck underground.
