Police seeking public’s help in finding Roxbury man, 69, who went missing on May 6

Boston police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 69-year-old Roxbury man who went missing on May 6.

Felipe Montero-Delarosa, who speaks predominantly Spanish and stands 5-foot-8 and weighs 190 pounds, was last seen in the area of 65 Codman Park, police said in a statement.

His family reported him missing the following day, on May 7.


“Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Felipe Montero-Delarosa is asked and advised to contact District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-6694,” the release said.

A police spokesman said Montero-Delarosa has no known history of mental health issues, and his disappearance isn’t believed to be suspicious.

“Community members wishing to assist this investigation anonymously can do so by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1 (800) 494-TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463),” the release said. “The Boston Police Department will stringently guard and protect the identities of all those who wish to assist this investigation in an anonymous manner.”
