Boston police conducted drug raids in several areas of the city on Monday, arresting at least 13 people on drug charges and seizing significant amounts of fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine.

The raids, called Operation Summer Sweep, by officers from Boston drug control squads focused on Roxbury, Dorchester, the South End, and other city neighborhoods, according to Officer Stephen McNulty, a Boston police spokesman.

According to a police report, 395 grams of fentanyl were seized, along with 137 grams of heroin, 27 grams of cocaine, 15 plastic bags of crack, six bags of marijuana, and 368 grams of an as-yet unidentified powder.

Police also found $6,801 in cash and seized a 2013 ford Focus.

The 13 suspects face a variety of charges, including distribution of several types of drugs. Some suspects also face charges from previous arrest warrants.

The suspects are being arraigned in several courts Tuesday including Boston Municipal Court and Roxbury District Court.
