Here’s where today’s thunderstorms could strike

Thunderstorms are expected to hit the region on Friday, with a flash flood watch in effect for portions of Massachusetts and Rhode Island from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Boston area is expected to get about a half inch of rain through the storms. The highest rain predictions in Massachusetts are in the Taunton area, where 1.13 inches are expected.
