Commuters looking to take the Framingham/Worcester Line on Monday were hit with delays of varying lengths as crews worked to repair signal mechanisms at Boston Landing, officials said.

Keolis and the MBTA have staff at several major MBTA stations helping commuters find their way amid the delays, said Keolis Commuter Services spokesman Justin Thompson. Crews were sent to address mechanical issues that resulted in delays for other lines as well.

Repair crews “are making progress,” Thompson said, but for now the delays are ongoing.

The signaling infrastructure stopped working over the weekend when contractors installing a positive train control system cut some wires while drilling a hole, Keolis officials said..
