Everett casino announces restaurant, luxury nightclub
Encore Boston Harbor, the $2.5 billion casino complex under construction on the Mystic River in Everett, has announced plans for an Asian-fusion restaurant and lounge and a luxury nightclub.
New England-based Big Night Entertainment Group, which runs nightclubs and restaurants in Greater Boston, has signed a lease to operate a 16,400-square-foot restaurant and lounge, to be called Mystique, and an 8,000-square-foot luxury nightclub, to be called Memoire, the casino said Wednesday.
The restaurant will have a contemporary Asian-fusion menu featuring “sushi, traditional Asian delicacies and innovative new dishes,” Encore Boston Harbor said in a statement. It will seat more than 530, including a 94-seat lounge with wraparound bar.
The nightclub, overlooking the resort’s casino floor, will accommodate up to 600 people “in an exuberant setting of gold, leather, marble and hand-blown glass chandeliers direct from the flea markets of Paris,” according to Encore.
“Big Night Entertainment Group owns and operates several of the most popular and award-winning restaurants and luxury nightclubs in the region and is very well respected in this marketplace,” said Robert DeSalvio, president of Encore Boston Harbor.
Encore Boston Harbor, owned by Las Vegas gambling giant Wynn Resorts, is scheduled to open in June.
Big Night Entertainment Group is known for CBS Sporting Club at Patriot Place in Foxborough and such Boston destinations as The Grand, Explorateur, Empire, and Red Lantern.
“Mystique and Memoire are destined to be flagship destinations at Encore Boston Harbor,” said Ed Kane, a principal of Big Night Entertainment Group.
