Man stabbed in Roxbury, suspect arrested
A man was arrested for stabbing another man Thursday evening in Roxbury, Boston police said.
The stabbing happened near the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard around 6 p.m., according to Officer James Moccia, a department spokesman.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, he said.
His alleged assailant, who was not identified, was turned over to the custody of the Massachusetts State Police, Moccia said.
A spokesman for the State Police could not immediately be reached for comment Thursday night.
No further information was available.
