Three boats were ravaged by flames Monday afternoon in Norwell while docked in a marina in King’s Landing, a fire official said.
About 2 p.m., one boat caught fire, spreading flames to two other boats sitting in Bulman Marine at King’s Landing, Norwell Fire Captain David Kean said. Firefighters contained the fire within 30 minutes of the call, Dean added.
No injuries were reported, but three boats were totaled, resulting in damage worth about $100,000, Dean said.
The boats, belonging to private owners, were in the process of being shrink-wrapped in the marina, Dean said, but firefighters are not sure what caused the fire.

No one was near the boats when they were found engulfed in flames, Dean said.
The Scituate Fire Department also responded to the scene, Dean said.
