State Police are investigating the death of a teenage boy whose body was found in a home that caught on fire Saturday night in Millbury, authorities said.

A smoky fire was reported in the living room of a home on Stone Road shortly after 9 p.m., the Worcester District Attorney’s office said in a statement.

The body of a boy who lived in the home was found in the rubble of the room, officials said.

Three other residents escaped the fire. One was burned on his face and arms while trying to put out the fire with an extinguisher, authorities said.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of the boy’s death, officials said.
